Voting Question: I'm picking my A-levels!!!!?

I'm looking to do broadcast journalism when I'm older and now i have to pick my A-level subjects. I was thinking of picking media studies politics history for some reason my school does not offer English language only English literature. I don't want to do English lit as i didn't do it for GCSE, if you have any suggestions please give them.
